ViscoTrol™-Three Phase Stirrer Drives
The ViscoTrol™ three-phase current stirrer drives have an integrated electronic control unit for the variation of the rotational speed and the electronic recording of the torque. As a result, adjustable gears and measuring shafts are no longer necessary.

The ViscoTrol™-rheo family meets increased demands for accuracy.
As the standard cooling may be insufficient at a reduced rotational speed, it is recommended to set the size of the motor via the nominal value of the control unit or to provide an auxiliary fan.
ViscoTrol™-rheo
ViscoTrol™-rheo controlling units allow the recording of the torque.
An analogue output of 4 to 20 mA for the rotational speed setpoint and an analogue input of 4 to 20 mA for the torque are required on the automation device for control using 4 to 20 mA current signals The feedback signal of the actual rotational speed via the PFM output within the device requires a digital input (with frequency measurement).

ViscoTrol™
The control units have a start-stop switch and a setpoint value potentiometer for manual operation.
ViscoTrol™ control units may be controlled using an analogue interface or RS-485 Modbus RTU. Release is possible using a digital input.
Note
The option SF-PDMODBUS and a free RS-485 interface on the AS are required for a Modbus interface. An analogue output of 4 to 20 mA for the rotational speed setpoint and an analogue input of 4 to 20 mA for each of the rotational speed and the torque are required for control using 4 to 20 mA. In addition, a digital output is required for the digital release.
