For the targeted reaction and the risk analysis of chemical reactions, the reaction heat and its time course must be known under close-to-operational conditions.
For the design of cooling systems reliable data on the available energy potential of a reaction mixture and the heat transfer and the properties and / or the heat storage capacity must be present, often depending on the composition and the temperature.
The reliable assessment of complex chemical processes requires a variable experimental apparatus, which can be adapted to the conditions of the process to be investigated. The LabKit™-rc reaction calorimeters were therefore designed so that all functions of the laboratory or operating equipment can also be realized in the calorimeter.
