The right oxygen supply is crucial for the success of microbial and eukaryotic cultures. However, conventional methods for monitoring respiration activity are often complex, prone to failure and only provide selective data.

RAMOS® (Respiration Activity MOnitoring System) enables precise online measurement of the oxygen transfer rate (OTR) and the carbon dioxide transfer rate (CTR) in shake flasks - without disturbing the culture process. This leads to improved process control, early detection of growth phases and optimization of culture conditions for more efficient bioprocesses.
