1980

HITEC ZANG was founded in 1980 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Zang, initially as an engineering office. In the early years, customer-specific hardware developments in analog and digital technology as well as programming work were carried out on behalf of customers.

1980s

Development of the first process control system for process engineering and the LabManager-Classic as an automation component for laboratories and pilot plants.

1993

The LabVision software for monitoring, controlling and regulating automated reactors was launched as a supplement to LabManager.

Since 1997

Planning and implementation of turnkey laboratory and pilot plants.

2013

In order to be able to offer our customers quality "Made in Germany" as before, the production area was expanded by approx. 900 square meters.

2016

Takeover of the apparatus supplier Juchheim Laborgeräte GmbH.

2020

Presentation of the LabBox:

A compact system for entry into the digital laboratory, especially for analytical and preparative workstations.

2023

Opening of the demo lab:

It can be used by visitors and employees. During customer visits and training courses, it demonstrates directly on site how processes can be automated and what optimization potential is hidden behind them.

The laboratory serves as a research and development base for the in-house engineers.
