AutoSam 360 - Precise and versatile sample collector

The AutoSam 360 is a modular autosampler designed for automated sampling and filling of sample bottles. It can be equipped with sample plates for vessels ranging in diameter from 12 mm to 56 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. For temperature-sensitive samples, the device can be optionally operated in a cooling incubator.

The zero position of the sample plate is a defined position for cleaning or disposing of the needle. There is a hose connection at the back of the device that allows a waste container to be connected directly for the controlled removal of excess liquids.

The integrated operating buttons allow you to control central functions directly in manual mode. These functions include:

• Approaching the zero position
• Moving to the next position
• Needle stroke (up/down)
• Valve control (open/closed)
• Stirrer speed control (when using a magnetic stirrer)
• Plate change

An LC display shows the current position of the sample plate, the status of the needle, and the status of other system functions. This feature facilitates manual control and quick fault diagnosis during operation.

Interfaces and software integration

The AutoSam is designed for control via an RS232 interface. Our AutoSam control software, which is based on LabVision, is available for convenient control. Additionally, its open communication protocol allows for easy integration into higher-level control systems.

Functionalities of the software/interface control:

• Optional control of the position of the sample plate
• Control of the 3/2-way valve
• Freely programmable rinse cycles
• Logging as sample slips etc.

The AutoSam can be integrated into existing LabVision applications. It communicates via an ASCII-based protocol, allowing simple connection to process control systems or customer-specific automation solutions.
