The DC-BCUO is the central bus decoupler module for the DC Manager and enables the connection of multiple substations via the HiBus. It provides a total of four independent bus connections, allowing for the structured setup of modular laboratory and process automation systems.
With the DC-BCUO, up to seven substations can be connected to one base station. For installations with more than four substations, two bus decoupler modules are simply inserted into the DC Manager base, allowing the system architecture to be scaled flexibly - without additional external hardware.
The module forms the central distribution point for hierarchically structured I/O structures and supports stable, interference-free communication between the DC Manager and the connected DC-BCUI substation modules. This makes the DC-BCUO an essential component for larger or decentralized automation systems.
