The LabVision COMPACK module is the central interface for seamless connection to a wide range of external software and system environments. It enables manufacturer-independent data exchange and integration into higher-level IT structures based on state-of-the-art standards.

• Standardized interface: Provides an industrial-grade interface for data exchange between different LabVision projects and installations, and easy access to data points and objects through third-party software.
• Wide compatibility: Seamless connection with a variety of other systems and software such as Python, LIMS (laboratory information management systems), ELN (electronic lab notebooks), data silos, and Matlab. This greatly expands the flexibility and possible applications of LabVision.
• SCADA & automation: Enables the integration of LabVision into external SCADA systems, provided they have the necessary access interfaces. This enables manufacturer-independent communication in automation technology in accordance with the globally recognized OPC UA standard.
• Individual configuration: Customization of read and write access to data points and objects in a LabVision project.

NEW as of version 2025.13: OPC UA server module

With LabVision version 2025.13, integration capabilities have been expanded with a completely newly developed OPC UA server module. This provides the ideal basis for digitization, system integration, and traceability.
